Celebrating 41 years at Trinity Rep, Rhode Island’s family holiday tradition brings Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Tiny Tim, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future to the stage in a glorious re-telling of the classic story that has delighted and inspired millions.
A local choir will be featured at each performance of A Christmas Carol.
The Providence Journal recently did a story about thier Sensory Friendly programming.

  • The PawSox Foundation presents the 3rd Annual Veterans Home Run 5K Walk 'n Run Saturday, November 10th, 2018 starting at 9am (registration begins at 7:30am) at McCoy Stadium.

This weeks “Wicked Family Friendly” Event is:
Family Hike at Roger Williams Park
Monday 1-3
Did you know that Roger Williams Park has several miles of peaceful woodland trails that wind along the water’s edge? You wouldn’t guess you’re in the middle of the city!


Join a moderate 2-mile hike of a portion of the Big Lakes Trail with the Roger Williams Park Conservancy, RI Families in Nature, and the Providence Parks Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership.


Hike will depart from the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center parking lot promptly at 1:00 PM; see a Park map: https://rwpconservancy.org/explore/maps/


We’ll end back at the Botanical Center for a fall-inspired nature art activity!


THINGS TO KNOW:
• Bring water and dress for the weather; tuck pants into socks as there may be ticks.
• Beware of possible poison ivy along the trails.
• For this hike, you can earn 5,000 points through the Zoo’s Nature Swap. Registered participants bring in natural “found” items to collect points for swapping with items in the Nature Swap collection. Learn more: http://natureswap.rwpzoo.org/
