The 5th annual 4 Bridges Ride

sponsored by the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority is a 26-mile charity ride that allows cyclists an opportunity to cross the Verrazzano, Pell, Sakonnet and Mt. Hope Bridges connecting the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. The event will be held on Sunday September 17, 2017 starting in North Kingstown and finishing on the campus of Roger Williams University in Bristol. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Save The Bay.

All participants are required to register prior to the event, wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws throughout the course. While strict safety measures are in place throughout the course, no roads will be closed to traffic during this ride.

A 26-mile ride of this nature requires tremendous planning and the cooperation of all seven communities, their police departments, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, R.I. State Police and from all participants and volunteers. Please visit www.4bridgesride.com to read all of the information regarding this event, including bike drop off, registration, safety information and other important details.
