Blooming Artisan

  • 2 upcoming family terrarium nights. These nights are during school vacation week Thursday - February 23rd and Friday - February 24th. Both are at 6:30 PM and the venue is The Empowerment Factory which is located at the Hope Artiste Village, 999 Main St, Studio 707, Pawtucket RI.
  • Jennifer founded Blooming Artisan because she believes people have busy demanding lives and crave opportunities to spend meaningful time bonding and connecting with their family. friends, coworkers, etc. in a meaningful way. To help people do this, Blooming Artisan provides fun, social, creative and even informative experiences by offering DIY floral arts and botanical craft parties.
  • These parties are hosted at various venues and can be public events or private parties. Based out of Northern RI, most events have been in Northern RI but will travel including surrounding areas of MA.
  • Jennifer, the owner,  has over 25 years experience is landscape industry and business management. BS in Ornamental Horticulture from URI. She never wanted to be a traditional florist. In 2015 she recognized an opportunity to bring real flowers and plants into people's lives in a new and unique way.
  • Working with plants can be a fun way for children to learn. For example, when Blooming Artisan does family terrarium nights participants, not only have fun creating something special and unique, they are learning about creating a living ecosystem for plants. First, it’s important to understand the plants that we selected and what conditions they grow best. Knowing this information will determine the container and the type of soil we use. The opportunity for children to learn will continue after they take their terrarium home when they need to take care of it. Besides the benefits of learning, families are creating positive memories and children will carry over these lessons and memories into adulthood for future generations
